- Use uppercase for dotted letters: T Th D Dh N R Rh S

- G or ng → ঙ, J → ঞ

- z / ç / sh → শ

- Long vowels: aa ii uu (or A I U)

- M → ং, MM → ঁ, H → ঃ

- _ → half consonant (virama), / or | → ।

How to type Assamese letters

  • Use Assamese-specific letters: (r) and (w).
  • Type G (or ng) for , and J for .
  • Type z, ç, or sh for .
  • Long vowels: aa, ii, uu (or A, I, U).
